خدا زمیں سے گیا نہیں ہے

ہے سرخ موسم گھٹا نہیں ہے 

گھٹن بہت ہے ہوا نہیں ہے 

گھری ہیں راتیں دیا نہیں ہے 

یہ آسمان بھی نیا نہیں ہے 

نہ خوف کھاؤ  نہ سر جھکاؤ 

اٹھو کہ ظلمت بلا نہیں ہے 

خدا زمیں سے گیا نہیں ہے 

جہاں کے ہو وہ  جہان بیچا 

زمین کو بھی آسمان بیچا 

بھنور میں ہو بادبان بیچا 

یقیں میں تھا جو گمان بیچا 

نقد ھتیلی  پہ  جان  رکھ کے 

وہیں پھر اپنا مکان بیچا 

ملے جو ایسا صلہ نہیں ہے 

خدا زمیں سے گیا نہیں ہے 

زمین کے بالوں میں  خاک دیکھو 

اجڑ گیاسب یہ راکھ  دیکھو 

بکھر گیا ہے جو خواب دیکھو 

ہے ہر طرف اب سراب دیکھو 

لہو ہے آنکھوں میں اب رگوں کا 

تماشا گر کا ساراپ دیکھو 

کوئی بھی اب با وفا نہیں ہے 

خدا زمیں سے گیا نہیں ہے 

یا خدا 

لگا ہے موت کا تماشا 

اجنبی ہے جو تھا شناشا 

کسی کا اپنا رہا نہیں ہے 

خدا زمین سے گیا نہیں ہے
